Vietnam Calcium carbonate is a chemical compound with the chemical formula CaCO₃. It is a common substance found in rocks as the minerals calcite and aragonite, most notably in chalk and limestone, eggshells, gastropod shells, shellfish skeletons and pearls.
Three types of calcium carbonate in Vietnam -containing rock are excavated and used in various industry. They are limestone, chalk and dolomite. Limestone and chalk are both forms of calcium carbonate and dolomite is a mixture of calcium and magnesium carbonates.

The fastest growing export markets for Calcium carbonate of Vietnam between 2021 and 2022 were Philippines ($3.25M), India ($2.71M), and Kuwait ($1.87M).
